Do I need to use Google Calendar?
Yes. Right now TutorSuite is built specifically around the one Google Calendar you already schedule lessons in. That is the whole mechanism: nothing to enter twice.
What if I use Outlook, Apple Calendar or something else?
It is not supported yet. Everything here assumes Google Calendar and Gmail specifically, so if you use something else, this is not a fit for you today.
Do I have to enter every lesson twice?
No. Lessons come from the one calendar you connect. Move a lesson or cancel it in Calendar, and the next sync keeps the app in step.
Does it send the meeting link on its own?
No, you stay in control. When a lesson needs one, you press Create and send: it generates a Google Meet and emails the link to the student. Nothing goes out without you clicking it.
Who is this actually for?
Independent tutors, not tutoring agencies or companies. Roughly the range of someone juggling 5 to 30 regular students on their own.
What can it actually see or do with my Google account?
Only the one calendar you pick. Gmail is used to send invoices and messages from your own address, never to read your mailbox.
What happens if I disconnect Google or delete my account?
Lessons and invoices already in the app stay there after you disconnect Google. Deleting your whole workspace is available whenever you want it.
