TutorSuite Privacy Policy

TutorSuite respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information TutorSuite collects, how it is used, and how information accessed through Google services is handled.

Information we collect
TutorSuite may collect information you provide when using the service, including:
- your name, email address and tutoring business details;
- student and billing contact information;
- lesson information;
- invoice and payment-instruction information; and
- settings and preferences.
We also process limited technical information needed to operate the service, such as authentication sessions, browser timezone information and service logs.
Google user data
If you connect your Google account, TutorSuite accesses only the Google information required to provide its features.
Google Calendar
TutorSuite uses Google Calendar to:
- show and select your calendars;
- synchronise tutoring events;
- create and maintain lesson records;
- detect event changes or cancellations; and
- add meeting links or create Google Meet links for relevant events when requested.
Gmail
TutorSuite uses Gmail only to send TutorSuite-related emails on your behalf, such as:
- invoices;
- invoice reminders; and
- lesson meeting links.
TutorSuite does not read, search or analyse your Gmail inbox or sent mailbox.
Google account identity
TutorSuite stores the verified email address and account identifier associated with the Google account you connect.
TutorSuite also stores OAuth credentials required to maintain your Google connection.
How we use information
We use information only as necessary to provide and operate TutorSuite, including to:
- manage students and lessons;
- synchronise Google Calendar;
- generate and manage invoices;
- send emails you request;
- create or manage meeting links;
- authenticate users;
- provide support; and
- maintain the security and reliability of the service.
TutorSuite does not sell personal information or Google user data and does not use it for advertising.
TutorSuite does not use Google user data to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
TutorSuite's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and sharing
TutorSuite uses third-party infrastructure providers to host and operate the service.
Information may be processed by service providers only as necessary to provide TutorSuite, maintain security, or comply with applicable law.
We do not sell user information to advertisers or data brokers.
Retention and deletion
TutorSuite retains information while it is needed to provide your account and workspace.
You can disconnect Google at any time. Disconnecting removes TutorSuite's locally stored Google credentials and stops future Google access, while your existing TutorSuite lesson and invoice history may remain available.
You can also delete your TutorSuite account and workspace through the application.
Deleting TutorSuite does not automatically delete information already created in external services, such as previously sent Gmail messages, Google Calendar events or Google Meet links.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information held by TutorSuite. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may:
- update information stored in TutorSuite;
- disconnect Google;
- revoke TutorSuite's access through your Google Account; or
- delete your TutorSuite account and workspace.

We may update this Privacy Policy as TutorSuite changes. The latest version will always be available at:
